Each reception is different…every one is a custom fit.
The
historic setting of the restored Pennsylvania Dutch brick end barn provides
rustic charm and quiet ambiance to make any function a unique and memorable
experience. The indoor capacity
of 205, high ceilings, large open areas and flexible seating plan allows a
great many options. It is easy to
accommodate bands, D.J.’s, dancing, and table layout to meet your specific
needs. GETTYSBREW
is handicapped accessible.
Our
years of experience will help you have a reception where your guests will be
comfortable, not intimidated. They
will enjoy the food and beverage service.
The quality, variety, and quantity of food will impress them.
We understand that wedding planning is very difficult and stressful.
To make this process easier we have developed a simple straightforward
approach to help you plan your event. We
do not believe in hidden charges and surprises.

We
encourage all brides and grooms to visit with us, try the food and drink.

FOOD SERVICE-
$18.50 per person. This includes
appetizers, a 6-entrée buffet that includes 10-12 cold salads, breads, rice,
potatoes, & hot vegetables. The
6 entrees (which can be modified) are ham, black knight’s beef, barbeque
chicken, vegetable lasagna, meat lasagna & meatballs with mushrooms &
peppers.
REHEARSAL DINNER-
Have your rehearsal dinner with us the night before, in our private dining
room. If we are hosting your
reception, we can make you a special offer.
Our most popular option is plated meal with a choice of strip steak,
salmon or vegetable lasagna. Your
guests chose their entrée at the table, not in advance.
This can be done for as little as $15.00 per person.
PARTY SIZE-
We will gladly accommodate any size group (to a maximum of 205 people).
A guarantee of 110 people will allow us to close the restaurant to the
public. Since we do not have a
hall charge, it is economically advantageous to you to simply guarantee the
minimum $2035 to have a private function.
BEVERAGE SERVICE-
We make 5 beers as well as our own sodas (currently root beer and ginger ale).
Our wine list has 6 choices. Beverages
are sold at menu prices. With
wine we serve by the glass and charge by the bottle (menu price).
You may choose which wines re to be offered.
Sparkling wine for a toast is available at $20 per bottle.
TIME
LIMITS-
Most receptions last 3 hours – we do not have a fee/penalty for extending
beyond that.
CAKE
SERVICE-
You provide the cake. We provide
the table, plates & utensils. We
do not charge to cut and serve the cake.
DECORATION-
We have tablecloths and candles. You
may supplement with your own decorating touches.
FAVORS-
We would like to suggest a custom printed pint glass with your names, date and
your own artwork in 1 or 2 colors. This
long lasting and practical favor can be done for about $4 per glass.

FINAL
BILL-
Your bill will consist of the food service & the beverage service as
outlined above. We will add 6%
tax and 18% gratuity to the total. Custom
glassware will be charged tax but not gratuity. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Novus/Discover, and checks.
